Getting to and around CDMX
Why Mexico City?
After several trips to Mexico City over the years, we’ve found there are very few places in North America or the world that can equal its vivacity and beauty. Equidistant between our familial hubs of Southern California and Chicago, we couldn’t imagine a better place to gather the people we love to celebrate this next step of our journey together.
Getting there
Book flights into Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX). Ubers can be called easily from there to your accommodations, typically a 25 minute drive depending on traffic.
Note that if you have Global Entry, you can go through expedited customs upon arrival.
Getting around
The Condesa and Roma neighborhoods are popular for their density of great food, drinks, parks, and entertainment options all within walking distance. To explore further, Ubers are a great and safe way to get around, but do note that Mexico City is infamous for its traffic. For the urban adventurers, there is also a robust and navigable public transit system that can take you to many of the most popular destinations cheaply and efficiently.
